Products & Compatibility
A Mockup is an Adobe Photoshop template that visually transforms your artwork to achieve a specific look and feel — think realistic paper, packaging, fabric, and more.
They're used for branding, presentations, portfolio pieces, and anywhere you want to showcase designs in context. We strive to offer a great degree of customizability in our mockups — layer controls, color adjustments, and smart object placement are common across the catalog.
A Texture is a transparent image file (PNG) designed to visually complement your work — adding grain, noise, surface detail, or atmospheric effects.
Textures aren't tied to any specific application. They work in image editors, video editors, 3D software, presentation tools — essentially anything that can load and display images in a creative workflow. They serve a different purpose than mockups: simpler by nature, but versatile and effective for use cases where a full Photoshop template isn't needed.
An Effect is a product built around specific Adobe Photoshop features — filters, actions, or specialized layer setups — to achieve results that go beyond what a standard mockup or texture can do.
For example, glass_M0RPH1SM uses Photoshop's Glass filter with custom textures to create realistic glass distortion effects, complete with an Action to automatically set up the layer structure.
It depends on the product type:
- Mockups and Effects — Adobe Photoshop (desktop for Windows or macOS). iPad and web versions are not supported. Mockups may also work in Affinity Photo, though we don't officially support it.
- Textures — Anything that can load and display images: image editors, video editors, 3D software, presentation tools, and more.
- Fonts — Any operating system. Install the font files (OTF/TTF) and use them in any application.
- Wallpapers — Ready to use, no software needed.

Rarely. Most assets are released in their final form. If we do update a product — whether to fix a bug, correct an issue with the files, or improve something — we'll notify affected customers.
